In 1939 a hard working German immigrant put down roots in St. Paul and started a business to support local builders with quality supplies. Now, four generations later, Metzger Building Materials remains family-owned and we are passionate about this business.  It’s in our blood. We value hard work and the long-term relationships we have developed with so many of our customers.

Warehousing stock and supplies locally allows us to make timely job site deliveries to keep even the largest projects on schedule.
